Facilities at Brackley Fields
Comfortable Bedrooms
We provide accommodation for up to 35 residents in a range of comfortable bedrooms. Most rooms are single en-suite bedrooms, 6 are single rooms and one double room suitable for couples.
Each room includes:
- Electric profiling beds with memory foam mattresses
- Wardrobe, drawers and bedside furniture
- Comfortable armchairs
- Telephone points
- En-suite facilities in most rooms
Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with photographs, decorations and small items of furniture to help create a familiar and homely environment. Free WiFi is available throughout the home for our residents to enjoy.
Welcoming Shared Spaces
Our home offers a variety of areas where residents can relax, socialise and spend time with friends and family.
Communal spaces include:
- Social lounge area used for dining, activities & entertainment
- Separate dining room if a quieter space is preferred
- Traditional library
- Tea & coffee room
Our spaces include both social areas and quieter places for residents to relax. Friends and family are always welcome to visit; we simply ask that visits take place outside of mealtimes so residents can enjoy their dining experience comfortably.
Activities and Social Life
We believe that staying active and socially engaged can be an important part of wellbeing, and residents are encouraged to take part in activities if they wish.
Our activities team organises a variety of activities and events, including:
- Arts and crafts
- Games and quizzes
- Film screenings
- Live entertainment and music
- Seasonal celebrations and themed events
Residents are always free to choose how they spend their time, whether that means joining in with activities or simply enjoying their room or the quieter spaces around the home.
We often welcome visiting entertainers helping to create a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere.
Beautiful Gardens
Brackley Fields is surrounded by approximately 1.25 acres of gardens providing residents with a peaceful outdoor environment to enjoy throughout the year.
The gardens feature:
- Maintained lawns and flower beds
- Raised beds for gardening
- Outdoor seating areas
- A summer house
We often enjoy spending time outdoors in good weather relaxing, gardening or spending time with visiting family members. During the summer months, the gardens are also used for social events such as barbecues and outdoor gatherings.
